The starting prices for the newly launched Honda Amaze 2018 for petrol and diesel variants starts at Rs. 5.59 lakh and Rs. 6.69 lakh (All Prices Ex-Showroom).
All-new Honda Amaze has been launched in India at an attractive price tag of Rs. 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Moreover, the prices for the new Amaze will remain uniform across the country.
As far as the features are concerned, the new Amaze comes fitted with a 7-inch infotainment system, cruise control function, ABS and dual front airbags, paddle shifters and more.
As far as the lineup is concerned, the new Honda Amaze will be offered in 12 variants across 4 trim levels - E, S, V and VX.
Honda Cars India has incorporated a new instrument console on the second generation Honda Amaze sub-compact sedan.
The transmission duties on the all-new Amaze are carried out by 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and an optional CVT gearbox is also on offer (both petrol and diesel).
Considering India usage pattern, Honda Cars India has incorporated various storage spaces on the new Honda Amaze 2018.
After making its global debut at Auto Expo 2018 this year, new Honda Amaze 2018 will be making its India debut today. The new 2UA platform will debut on the new Amaze which could be employed on the future products from Honda probably the new Honda Brio. The all-new Honda Amaze sedan will sport a revised exterior featuring new design, feel and appearance. The front fascia on the new Amaze takes inspiration from elder siblings - Accord and Civic sporting Honda's new Signature ‘Solid Wing Face’. On the inside, the sedan also features updated interiors proffering more refinement to the cabin. Mechanically, the new Honda Amaze 2018 continues to sport same set of engines as seen on the outgoing model. It gets 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engines wherein the petrol makes 87 bhp and 100Nm of of power figures whereas the diesel produces 98.6 Bhp and 200 Nm of peak power figures. The transmission functionalities on the new Amaze are taken care by a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and a CVT gearbox is also on offer as an option.
The all-new Amaze from the house of Japanese car maker will be lighter than the outgoing as it is based on the new 2UA platform making it more fuel efficient. The company claims that the petrol variant will return mileage of 19.5 kmpl and 19 kmpl for petrol manual and petrol CVT variants while the diesel manual and diesel CVT variant will offer fuel economy of 27.4 kmpl and 23.8 kmpl respectively. Lastly, coming to the pricing, the new Honda Amaze sedan will be priced in the bracket of Rs. 5.5 lakh to Rs. 9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). When launched in the country, the all-new Honda Amaze will take on third generation Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Tigor, upcoming Ford Aspire and Volkswagen Ameo in the sub-compact sedan space.
