Hero MotoCorp, a leading two-wheeler manufacturer is gearing up to introduce its first adventure motorcycle - XPulse 200 in India. Previously, the company showcased the motorcycle at Auto Expo 2018 in February. With an aim to built-up around the launch, the company has officially revealed the images of the new Hero XPulse 200 which will be introduced as a replacement to Hero Impulse that is currently discontinued in the country. The upcoming XPulse 200 sports a classic round headlight with LED DRLs and the overall appeal is accentuated by the tall stance with a larger front wheel. Mechanically, the motorcycle will be borrow powertrain option from Xtreme 200R, but it will be tuned differently. The motor is a 200cc air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected unit tuned to make 18bhp of maximum power with peak torque 17Nm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension duties on the motorcycle will be carried out by conventional front forks while the rear will see a monoshock setup. The bike will come shod with 21-inch wheel at the front and 19-inch wheel at the rear. For deceleration, the motorcycle will sport disc brakes upfront as well as rear along with single-channel ABS only. The motorcycle is expected to carry spoke wheels and tube tyres for keeping the costs low. The motorcycle will also feature an all-new digital instrument panel and kill switch as well.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the new Hero XPulse motorcycle is expected to be priced around Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Moreover, the motorcycle is speculated to hit the Indian market by the end of this year.
