According to a government release, Unnao Superintendent of Police (SP) Pushpanjali Devi is prominent among the transferred IPS officers who have been now attached to the UP Director General of Police (DGP).

Unnao hit the headlines over the alleged rape of a girl by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar.
