The initiative aims to enable volunteers to play an active role in designing and executing volunteer programmes, as well as support their ideas and innovations, develop and sustain them, and foster a culture of social responsibility, knowledge exchange, and capacity building.

The ERC today held a press release at its headquarters to announce the details of the initiative, which presented a range of creative ideas that are being implemented for the first time in the humanitarian field.

These ideas were presented by several members of the ERC Ambassadors' Team of Volunteers.
