Caracas, May 26 (AFP) The Venezuelan government confirmed today that American Joshua and his wife have been freed and are on their way home after two years in jail.

President Nicolas Maduro ordered their release as a "gesture" aimed at activating a dialogue between Caracas and Washington, Communications Minister Jorge Rodriguez said.
