Pattaya [Thailand], June 24 (ANI): Indian professional golfer Vani Kapoor finished European Thailand Championship 2018 at tied 54th spot with a score of six over par 294 here at Pheonix Gold Golf and Country Club.

The final day started in a disarrayed manner for Vani after putting a bogey on the first hole before making a strong comeback to grab a birdie on the next hole itself. Her final day continued to sway in both ways as she had to swallow four bogies on the 6th, 11th, 15th and the 17th hole before neutralising with another three birdies on the 7th, 10th, and 13th hole.

Earlier, Vani had finished the third round at T58 along with a total score of five over 221 (72, 75, 74) over 54 holes.

Vani was the lone Indian to have made the cut in the tournament.

Preedasuttijit K of Thailand won the Championship with a score of 12 under par 273, after four rounds of golf. (ANI)
