Earlier CM Dhami expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Governor for approving the Uttarakhand Public (Government) and Private Property Damage Recovery (Ordinance) Act 2024. The Chief Minister said that under this law, the damage caused to government and private property by the rioters can be compensated. The expenses incurred by the government staff engaged in riot control and other work will also be reimbursed.
Dhami said that no one is allowed to disturb the law and order and nature in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. This law will be strictly followed in the state.
