"For the last few months, good news has been coming for the Sikh community in India and abroad," Jasdip Singh chairman of Sikhs of America said as he praised the role of the Indian government in bringing to justice some of the accused involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
"We are seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. However, there is lot to be done," Singh said, hoping that in the coming weeks and months other politicians involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots would also be brought to justice. He said the government had addressed most of their concerns including removal of some Sikhs from the visa blacklist.
