Washington D.C. [USA], Sep 11 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump is open for another follow-up meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, White House Secretary Sarah Sanders said on Monday.
Trump is mulling over the meeting despite national security adviser John Bolton's assertion that the US is still waiting for Pyongyang to take steps toward denuclearization.
Trump has reportedly received another letter from Kim which the White House described as "very warm" and "very positive".
"The primary purpose of the letter was to request and look to schedule another meeting with the president," CNN quoted White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders as she told reporters at the press briefing Monday. It was something the White House is "open to."
However, the White House made it clear that it will not release the letter unless the Korean dictator gives consent to do that.
Adding that the letter showed a "commitment towards continuing conversations," Sanders said that it shows a "further evidence of progress" toward denuclearization.
