Paris [France], Oct 15 (ANI): At least 13 people have been killed in the torrential rains that flooded South-West France on Monday.
Euronews quoted government prefect for the Aud Alain Thirion as saying that several months of rain fell in just a few hours in the early hours.
As many as six helicopters were deployed to rescue people from the region.
Thirion also confirmed that one victim was swept away in the flash floods.
The authorities have also warned people against the use of cars. (ANI)
