Washington D.C. [USA], Oct 16 (ANI): American actor Tara Reid was recently asked to leave from a Delta flight following disturbance caused by her onboard.
The 42-year-old star was seen being asked to leave the flight by an attendant in a video which was obtained by TMZ. She was spotted wearing a black coat, a red beanie and carrying her dog along with her, reported People.
Reid's representative confirmed to USA Today that the actor was removed from the flight, but refrained from commenting further on the incident.
However, a Delta spokesperson, Ashton Kang said, "Delta flight 613 from Los Angeles to New York JFK-International returned to the gate, prior to takeoff, due to a customer disturbance on board."
"Delta apologizes to the remaining customers for the inconvenience and appreciates their patience as the situation was resolved. The flight re-departed for New York following a short delay," said Kang.
However, Delta didn't provide any details as to what triggered the incident.
The 'Sharknado' actor recently made headlines in August when she appeared to slur her speech during a live interview on Australia's 'Today Extra'.
After the interview, Reid released a statement addressing concerns related to her health.
"I'd like to thank my fans from the depths of my soul for their continued support, which has made this Sharknado my most successful one yet. We worked harder than ever on this film and also the promotion of the film," she said.
Addressing the controversy surrounding her slurring, Reid continued, "While it's unfortunate to see some of the recent negative press following a successful week of promoting and supporting the film, I'm happy to know that my fans continue to stand by me - this is for them!"
She, however, insisted that her fans had nothing to worry about, explaining, "I am in great spirits and health and I look forward to my future projects and what's in store for me next." (ANI)
