New Delhi [India], Oct 31 (ANI): After registering a thumping win against Bhutan on Monday, Indian U-15 boys will take on Bangladesh in the semifinal clash of the ongoing South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-15 Championship in Kathmandu on Thursday.

Drawn against Pakistan and Bhutan in the group stages, the Indian colts started off their campaign with a loss against arch-rivals Pakistan as the match ended 2-1.

Despite the early setback, the team coached by Shuvendu Panda fought back in their next game and pumped four unanswered goals past Bhutan to secure a place in the last four.

Talking about the previous two matches, Panda stated that the team continued to play the same way despite the initial loss.

"Although we displayed a dominating performance in our first match, we couldn't get the right result. We continued the same performance against Bhutan and we succeeded," he said.

He further stated that the team is looking forward to the task at hand on November 1 and working hard for it.

"We will continue the same display and look forward to getting a positive result against Bangladesh as well. The boys are motivated after the win against Bhutan and are preparing well for the semifinal against a strong Bangladesh team," he concluded. (ANI)
