New Delhi, May 29 (PTI) The RSS is likely to deliberate over the country's security situation in the last round of ongoing meetings between the sangh, the BJP leaders and Union ministers on completion of the four years of the Narendra Modi-led government.
The meeting will be chaired by the RSS' joint general secretary Krishan Gopal and is scheduled to be attend by Minister of State for Home Hansraj Gangaram Ahir and other senior functionaries of the RSS-allied organisation.
The meeting, which the RSS said is an annual exercise for exchanging ideas between its affiliates working in the same field, is also expected to be attended by Home Minster Rajnath Singh.
In the earlier two rounds of the meetings, the RSS, the BJP and as many as eleven ministers deliberated on policies of the government from all sectors such as education, economics, health and agriculture.
BJP chief Amit Shah was present in both the meetings, besides party general secretary Bhupender Yadav, Ram Madhav and BJP's organisational secretary Ram Lal.
The government was represented by Union ministers Piyush Goyal, Radha Mohan Singh, Giriraj Singh, Suresh Prabhu, Santosh Gangwar, JP Nadda, Menaka Gandhi, Prakash Javadekar and Thawarchand Gehlot.
"These are not Samanvay (coordination) meetings neither these are decision-making meetings," RSS all-India Prachar Pramukh Arun Kumar said in a statement.
This exercise is being organised to bring together various RSS organisations working in the same field. They occasionally come together to share their experiments, experiences and observations, he said, adding that such group meetings have been taking place every year since 2007.
