Mumbai, May 30 (PTI) The Maharashtra Home Department today transferred several IPS officials.
Senior IPS officer Ashutosh Dumbre will now be the chief of the crime branch of Mumbai police, as per the home department's order which was issued this evening.
He will replace the current joint commissioner of police (Crime) Sanjay Saxena, who has been promoted as additional director general (ADG) (training).
Dumbre was earlier Joint Commissioner of Police, Economics Offence Wing (EOW) of the city police.
He will be replaced by Vinoy Choube as the Joint CP, EOW. Choube was earlier Special Inspector General (IG), Nashik Range.
Santosh Rastogi will be the new Joint Commissioner of Police, Administration, Mumbai.
He replaces Archana Tyagi, who has been promoted as ADG, State Reserve Police Force (SRPF). Prabhat Kumar will be the chief of the newly-created State EOW.
Sandeep Bishnoi has been appointed as additional director general (ADG), Establishment.
Dhananjay Kamlakar has been appointed as ADG, Planning and Coordination; Prashant Burde as ADG Home Guards.
Yashaswi Yadav, who was shunted out as Aurangabad city police commissioner recently, has been posted as Inspector General, VIP security in Mumbai.
Suhas Warke will be the new IG, Nanded. Aswathi Dorje has been promoted as Director, Nashik Police Academy. Chhering Dorje has been promoted as IG, Nashik Range, whereas K M M Prasanna will be IG, Nagpur range.
