RBI sets rupee reference rate at 65.0240 against US dollar

Mumbai, Apr 03 (PTI) The Reserve Bank of India todayfixed the reference rate of the rupee at 65.0240 against theUS dollar and 80.0901 for the euro.The corresponding rates were 65.0441 and 80.6222,on March 28, 2018.The according to an RBI statement, the exchange ratesfor the pound and the yen against the rupee were 91.4563 and61.31 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates forthe dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
