The Indonesian shuttler has sustained either a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) tear or an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear while training earlier this week, a media release issued by the franchise said Wednesday.
The nature of the injury is still unknown as he will undergo an MRI scan scheduled later this week, it said.
Kuncoro (34) has withdrawn his participation from the PBL, the release added.
The 22-year-old, right-handed shuttler Dani is currently ranked 133 in the mens single category.
