Hyderabad, May 26 (PTI) The recent unity of non-BJP parties in the country is alliance of parties which is bereft of ideological commitment and people would never accept it, BJP general secretary Ram Madhav said here today.

"This is an alliance of the corrupt and parties who do not any have ideological commitment.

People will never accept it," Ram Madhav, who was here to deliver a talk on the achievements of the NDA government during the last four years, told reporters.

He was asked about regional and opposition parties coming together at the swearing-in ceremony of Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and the comments of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that his party would play an important role after the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

Earlier in his speech, Ram Madhav said the NDA government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a corrupt-free administration in the last four years.

Speaking at length on the achievements of the Modi government, he said it also included peace largely prevailing in Jammu and Kashmir and militancy being neutralised effectively.

The country's economy is recognised to be the fastest growing economy and the loopholes that led to the likes of Vijay Mallya leaving the country would be "plugged soon," he added.
