Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) [India], Nov 18 (ANI): Carnatic music vocalist duo Malladi Brothers - Sreeramprasad and Ravikumar - mesmerised audience through their musical compositions on the second day of the Amaravati Global Music and Dance Festival 2018.

Apart from the Malladi Brothers, the audience got to witness a performance by Shriram Alluri, an indie rock musical and songwriter from the UK, as well as music composer SS Thaman.

Finalists of Andhra Idol singing contest, which is conducted in connection with the festival, also performed at the event.

On the dance front, the audience were witness to the sheer grace portrayed by Deepika Reddy, a leading exponent of Kuchipudi - the classical dance form of Andhra Pradesh.

Amaravati Global Music and Dance Festival 2018 is an annual flagship event of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority to promote the city of Amaravati as a global hub for culture.

The third and concluding day of the event on Sunday will see international artists like Louis Banks; George Brooks; Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Shobana. (ANI)
