Washington D.C. [USA] Oct 9 (ANI): Hollywood veteran Malcolm McDowell has been roped in to play News Corp Chairman Rupert Murdoch in Annapurna's upcoming drama about disgraced former Fox News Chief Roger Ailes and the women who brought him down, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.

The 75-year-old will join actor Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron and Nicole Kidman in the currently untitled movie.

Theron will produce the feature along with Beth Kono and AJ Dix via their Denver & Delilah banner. Roach, Randolph and Margaret Riley are also producing.

In a career spanning over 50 years, McDowell has played varied film roles across different genres as a character actor. He also had a string of roles on numerous television series.

He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012. (ANI)
