Changi [Singapore], June 12 (ANI): North Korean leader Kim Jong Un learned about 'social and economic development' of Singapore during his surprise night visit here on Tuesday.
As reported by the Korean Central News Agency, Kim left the St Regis Hotel in Changi, where he is currently residing to visit the tourist attractions of the city-state.
Kim is on a two-day visit to Changi to take part in the 'historic' summit with United States President Donald Trump.
It was a rare disclosure of itinerary of Kim's foreign trip.
"Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, toured various places of Singapore on June 11," the KCNA reported.
He went around the Great Flower Garden, Singapore's major tourist attraction, Sky Park located on Marine Bay Sands building, and Singapore Fort.
Throughout the trip, Kim made an attempt to learn about the social and economic development of Singapore, as reported.
During the trip, Kim was accompanied by his sister Kim Yo-jong and other important officials.
Earlier on Monday, Kim met Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong upon his arrival in the city. (ANI)
