Pune, Jan 13 (PTI) Delhi underlined their domination with three more gold medals to finish with a tally of a complete dozen in the judo competition which ended at the Khelo India Youth Games here Sunday.
Delhi topped in both the Under-17 and Under-21 sections with six gold in each category.
On the final day of the judo competition, while Delhi claimed three, Punjab won two and the other three were shared one each by Haryana, Manipur and hosts Maharashtra, a media release said.
For Delhi, the winners were Sachin Malik (Boys Under-21; above 100kg), Tulika Maan (Girls Under-21; above 78kgs) and Reetika Dahiya (Girls Under-21; Below-63kgs).
Sangli-born Tanvin Tamboli helped take Maharashtra's final tally of gold medals to three.
Maharashtra added four bronze medals to their tally, a feat matched by Kerala in the eight finals on the day.
Punjab began their day by winning the first final when 2018 Lebanon Junior Asian Championship, bronze medallist Harshdeep Singh Brar got the better of Haryanas Arun in the Under-21 boys below-81kgs final.
Punjab's other gold came from Macau Asian Cup bronze medallist Jobandeep Singh who proved too good for Basit Rafiq Sofi of Jammu and Kashmir in the below-100kgs class.
