Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Oct 30 (ANI): Around 48,000 students of Kashmir division appeared in the annual Annual Regular Examination of Higher Secondary for Class 12 on Wednesday. According to a statement issued by Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE): "Around 48,000 students of Kashmir division appeared in the examination. As many as 433 centres besides a special centre for specially-abled students had been set up at BOSE Campus Bemina, Srinagar."The statement said that around 99.5 per cent students appeared in the examination for which fool-proof arrangements were made.Flying squads were constituted for monitoring the examination and adequate security measures in and around the examination centres were also taken by the administration.Jammu and Kashmir is set to officially become a Union Territory on Thursday.
