Industrial Oils Rebound on Renewed Demand

Mumbai, Apr 6 (PTI) Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial rebounded smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following renewed demand from soaps and shippers industries.

While, linseeds oil fell further owing to subdued offtake from paint and allied industries.

In the edible segment, groundnut oil and refined palmolein prices ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.

Moving to non-edible section, castor seeds bold rose by Rs 30 per 100 kg to Rs 4,165 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 4,135, castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 6 per 10 kg to Rs 863 as against Rs 857. However, linseeds oil eased by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 795 as compared to Rs 798 yesterday.

In the edible oil segment, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 850 and Rs 732 per 10 kg, respectively.
