According to a release, during the meeting, various initiatives were discussed, including enhancing greenery, pollution control, development of sewage treatment plants, drinking water supply, and addressing unauthorized constructions.
The meeting took place at the command control room of the Municipal Corporation, where the Commissioner instructed officials to devise a comprehensive plan to beautify the city by planting more trees and improving the city's overall aesthetics.
He emphasized that along with air pollution, water pollution should also be addressed through the development of sewage treatment plants to purify water. He also instructed officials to monitor and ensure that no unauthorized constructions take place in the city and to remain vigilant in their supervision, the release added.
