India News | Uttarakhand: SDRF Team Rescues Person After His Vehicle Plunges into Ditch in Tehri

Tehri (Uttarakhand) [India], November 1 (ANI): The State Disaster Response Force of Uttarakhand on Friday rescued a person who was trapped inside a vehicle that had fallen into a ditch near Narendranagar in Tehri district.

The SDRF team was informed by the District Control Room, Tehri that a vehicle had fallen into a ditch on the Ranipokhari bypass road 2 km ahead of Narendranagar, in which two persons were travelling.

One person came out on his own but another could not.

The SDRF team swung into action and rescued the person trapped in the vehicle. He was rushed to the hospital where he underwent treatment.

The two were identified as Vivek Uniyal, 30, and Shevtang Uniyal, 25. They both are residents of Narendranagar. (ANI)
