Almora, October 12: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Thursday performed Puja as per rituals at Jageshwar Dham in Almora district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, on behalf of all the people of the state, also presented the musical instrument Trumpet, a replica of Jageshwar Dham made of copper and a 'Damru' as the blessings of Devadhidev Mahadev to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Located at a height of about 6,200 feet, the Jageshwar Dham comprises about 224 stone temples.

Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled projects of over Rs 4000 crore in Pithoragarh and said India is achieving new heights of success. Addressing a gathering here, the Prime Minister said the Tricolour is flying high in every area and recalled the success of the Chandrayaan Mission and India winning its highest number of medals in the Asian Games. "I have a belief that this will be Uttarakhand's decade...Uttarakhand will reach new prospects of development and our government is working with that one motive. Dhami Performs Puja With PM Modi at Jageshwar Dham:
