Ghee Sankranti 2024 Wishes: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Extends Greetings to People on Folk Festival Gheu Tyaar

Dehradun, August 16: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday extended his heartfelt greetings to all the people of the state on the occasion of the folk festival of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, Ghee Sankranti (Gheu Tyaar). Taking on the social media platform X, the Chief Minister said, "Folk festivals are an important part of our rich heritage and tradition," and added that he "prays to God that the holy folk festival brings happiness, prosperity, and health into the lives of all of you.".

Earlier, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami greeted the people of the state on the eve of the 78th Independence Day of the country and also paid tribute to the freedom fighters and soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation, according to an official release.
