Ghazipur, September 24: Mohammad Zahid alias Sonu, a criminal wanted in connection with the murders of two Railway Protection Force (RPF) constables, was killed in an encounter with a joint team from the Special Task Force (STF) Unit Noida Kotwali Gahmar and GRP Dildarnagar Police in Ghazipur on Monday. Zahid carried a bounty of Rs. 100000. During the gunfight between the police and Zahid and another supect, Zahid suffered serious injuries and was later declared dead at a district hospital in Ghazipur on Tuesday.
