Bareilly, September 9: A 25-year-old man, who allegedly threatened to blow up Bareilly's Jama Masjid and to shoot the cleric of the mosque, was arrested, said police on Friday. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Samad, who is also a resident of the Qila area of Bareilly.

A case has been registered under section 295, 153 A, against the accused and he has been sent to police custody. Further investigation is underway.
