New Delhi, August 31: Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Prataprao Jadhav on Friday announced the opening of ten new AYUSH institutes in the next five years. Union Minister Jadhav was on a visit to the All India Institute of Ayurveda where he made the announcement, saying that now Indians can receive benefits of traditional medical system on the lines of the allopathic system.
Union Minister Jadhav inspected the entire campus and reviewed the facilities here and the treatment being given to the patients. In the program organized here, he emphasized that his government is committed to fulfilling the Prime Minister's effort to take Ayurveda to every home. Jadhav said, "Ayurveda and our traditional medical system have suffered a lot during the colonial period and foreign invaders, but after the year 2014, the circumstances have changed under the leadership of the Modi government.
