Agartala (Tripura) [India], November 7 (ANI): Six Bangladeshi nationals were held at Jirania Railway Station near Agartala on Thursday while attempting to board a train to travel further into other states after entering India illegally from Bangladesh, said Government Railway Police in a statement.
The individuals, including three men and three members of the third gender, were detained during a coordinated operation based on intelligence reports.
The operation involved collaboration between Agartala Government Railway Police (GRP), Border Security Force (BSF), and Railway Protection Force (RPF).
Following their detention, the six individuals who were identified as Ekhlas Mia, Rubayet Hossain, Zakira, Zakaraiya, Tanvir Ahmed and Mohammad Mominul Haque all Bangladeshi nationals were taken to the Agartala GRP station, where they are undergoing rigorous questioning, added the statement from Government Railway Police.
