Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 25 (ANI): The Telangana High Court on Thursday disqualified Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy for submitting a false affidavit in the 2018 Assembly elections and declared BJP National Vice President DK Aruna as the MLA of the Gadwal constituency as she was the runner-up in the election.
Reacting to the HC ruling a member of BJP's legal cell Ram Chander Rao said," We welcome the Telangana High Court judgement setting aside Krishnamohan Reddy's election from Gadwal and declaring DK Aruna as elected. This has happened because a petition was filed by DK Aruna that Krishna Mohan has suppressed the facts and information."
