New Delhi, October 19: Several rounds were fired at North East Delhi's Welcome area on Saturday evening, police said, adding that few culprits have been nabbed in connection with the incident. On enquiry from the caller and in the locality, it was revealed that during this firing one girl, a bystander, Ifra (22) was injured and was admitted to GTB Hospital, police said.
Officials rushed to the spot after being alerted about the incident. Police cordoned off the area and launched an investigation. "Several rounds were fired at North East Delhi's Welcome area. Information was received on Saturday at 4:42 pm regarding a quarrel and firing at Raja Market Welcome. On receiving of information senior officer, ASI Vishal along with staff reached the spot where empty cartridges were found in the street, police said.
