According to Chief Minister's Office (CMO), Maharashtra, CM Eknath Shinde announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased.

CMO Maharashtra tweeted, "Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed grief over the tragedy when the crevice collapsed on Irsalwadi settlement. Tributes have been paid to the dead in this accident. The Chief Minister said that the families of the deceased in this accident will be given an aid of five lakhs and the government will bear the cost of treatment of the injured."
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday said that heavy rains and challenging routes were obstructing the rescue operations at the site of the landslide in Raigad district and that helicopters would be dispatched for the evacuation as soon as the weather cleared up, said the CMO.
CMO Maharashtra stated that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde arrived at the scene of the tragedy as soon as he learned about the landslip in the Raigad district and immediately began reviewing the relief and rescue efforts.
The CM added that the NDRF forces were conducting all the rescue operations and that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had also taken information about the incident, said the CMO.

Earlier this morning, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde arrived at the landslide site in Raigad district, where four people were killed and several are feared trapped under debris.
According to the Raigad Police, in the landslide at Irshalwadi village of Khalapur tehsil, four people died and three others were injured. One of the rescuers also died due to heart attack, police said.
Rescue operation by the teams of the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF), is underway.
Earlier, the NDRF said two teams reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and launched the search and rescue operation. They further informed that two more teams have left from Mumbai to join the operation.
Raigad Police also set up a control room after the incident. The police said that they have rescued 30 people from the spot so far but many are feared trapped in the debris.
"We will get a better idea of the situation when daylight comes. Presently over 100 people from Police and district administration are involved in the rescue operation and we are getting help from NDRF, locals and some NGOs too," the Raigad Police said. (ANI)
