Mumbai, September 15: A hit-and-run case occurred in the Dahisar area here on Friday where a speeding car hit a bike, leaving one individual dead and two injured. The deceased has been identified as Aditya Velankar (17) and the injured have been identified as Piyush Shukla and Karan Rajput (18).

The incident occurred when three friends, Piyush Shukla riding a two-wheeler, and Aditya Velankar with Karan Rajput on a bike were returning from the nearby Shailendra High School in Dahisar East and were hit by an unknown speeding car. Aditya was taken to the nearby hospital by his friends where the doctors declared him dead. The Dahisar police are scanning the CCTV footage of the accident site to identify the car owner and have launched a search operation.
