Puri (Odisha) [India], November 5 (ANI): Shots were fired at the Puri-Anand Vihar Nandankanan Express train near Odisha's Bhadrak on Tuesday morning. Nobody has been injured in the incident, said police.

Police along with GRP (Government Railway Police) and RPF (Railway Protection Force) reached the site immediately after receiving word about the firing incident, said officials.

All the passengers were safely evacuated, said officials.

SK Bahinipati, Inchage, GRP Police Station Puri said, "Between 9.00-9.30 am, we got information that there was firing on the Nandankanan Express train after it crossed Bhadrak. GRP and RPF escorted the train to Puri to ensure the safety of passengers. Four teams including RPF, Police are engaged in the investigation."
