Mumbai, June 6: Ten people were injured on Thursday in an LPG cylinder blast in the Chembur area of Maharashtra's Mumbai. The fire tenders reached the spot immediately after receiving a call at 7:30 am about the LPG cylinder blast.
"The investigation is underway. We received a call at 7:30 AM about the explosion. When we came, the whole structure was demolished and damaged. We found 2 domestic cylinders of HP (LPG) gas. There is leakage from one of the cylinders. Our investigation is underway to find out what exactly happened... 10 people have been injured in the incident..." said KV Shirke, Senior Station Officer of Chembur Fire Station.
