Panna, Aug 12 (PTI) A senior police official in Madhya Pradesh's Panna district sustained an injury when he came in contact with a poisonous snake, which was hiding in his shoe, an official said on Wednesday.

Superintendent of police (Panna) Mayank Awasthi is undergoing treatment at Jabalpur, as his finger got swollen after accidentally touching the reptile while putting on his shoe on Monday, additional superintendent of police (ASP) BKS Parihar said.
