Speaking on the occasion, the CM said, "Ten years ago on this day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had presented a proposal of to be healthy with Yoga in the United Nations, and it was adopted by them. "We all know that physical fitness is necessary to stay healthy through yoga, but along with fitness, diet is also equally important. If rice is not available then Jawar, Bajra is used but wheat is not used. It means "Shri Anna" (millets) is our ancient food," the Chief Minister said.
CM Yadav further said that the state government would be starting 11 new Ayurvedic colleges in the state through which forest wealth, the specialty of the region and the role of the state in the field of Ayurveda would come to the fore on a large scale. Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India.
