New Delhi [India], November 4 (ANI): Republican Party of India (RPI) president and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has inquired about the health and well-being of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) President Prakash Ambedkar over telephone to his family, said RPI media wing in a statement on Monday.

Notably, President Prakash Ambedkar was admitted to a hospital in Pune on Thursday due to chest pain.

Prakash Ambedkar's family has updated that he has been discharged from hospital now and after the Angioplasty his health is also stable and he is in recovery mode, added the statement.

According to the statement, Ramdas Athawale will soon visit Pune and meet Prakash Ambedkar in person.

In the interim, VBA state president Rekha Tai Thakur is leading the party's election campaign with the help of Election Coordination Committee, Manifesto Committee and Media and Research Department of the party.
