Kaziranga (Assam) [India] August 7: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday handed over 20 Inflatable Rubber Boats to Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve to check poaching and encroaching attempts. Speaking to reporters, CM Biswa said, "In June during my review meeting on the safety of Kaziranga National Park, our Forest Protection Force requested new patrol boats to check poaching and encroaching attempts. In less than 60 days, they have been delivered."
