Thiruvananthapuram, September 29: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued an orange alert in four districts of Kerala, and a yellow alert for the remaining districts of the state. The districts where the orange alert is in place are Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kannur and Kasaragod. Heavy rain and strong winds lashed parts of Thiruvananthapuram city on Friday morning.
