Chatra/Palamu, Nov 8 (PTI) Accusing the JMM-led government of indulging in corruption, Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary on Friday claimed the ruling coalition was making false promises to the people ahead of the elections.
Addressing back-to-back election rallies in Jharkhand's Chatra and Palamu districts, Choudhary claimed development has come to a standstill with the Hemant Soren-led coalition coming to power in the state.
"The leaders of the INDIA bloc here are facing corruption charges. They are making false promises to the people," he said.
Noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to develop the country, Choudhary said India's economy would bag the top spot by 2029.
He claimed there was a wave in favour of the BJP in Jharkhand, and the NDA would form a majority government in the state.
Polling for the Jharkhand assembly elections will be held on November 13 and 20. The votes will be counted on November 23.
