Taking on Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, he claimed that the former Delhi chief minister was scared of the Congress' poll guarantees and has therefore, changed the AAP candidates from Hari Nagar and Narela Assembly constituencies.

It also exposes the AAP's non performance in the last 11 years as the party has been misleading the people with false promises, Yadav said.

Yadav said he has always been blessed and loved by the people of Badli who elected him on four occasions as the legislator and municipal councillor. He asserted that he never failed in honouring his responsibilities and ensuring the development of the constituency.

He said Kejriwal was an imposter who wears oversized shirts and broken slippers to mislead the people.

He promised the people of Delhi free water, power, healthcare, and education 11 years ago, but what the people got in return is dirty water, polluted air, dilapidated hospitals and schools, liquor vends in every corner, overflowing drains and sewers, and waterlogged streets, Yadav said.

The Congress has fulfilled the promises made in the states where it is in power, and will keep its promises made to the people of Delhi if it comes to power here, with law and order getting the top priority, he added.

Voting for the 70-member Delhi assembly is scheduled to be held on February 5. The votes would be counted on February 8.
