New Delhi, August 1: A fire broke out in a plastic factory in Delhi's Mayapuri area on Thursday morning, officials said.

According to the Delhi Fire Services Department, plastic material kept inside the factory was destroyed in the fire which broke out at around 9:30 am. It took around an hour for fire services staff and officials to bring the fire under control. No casualties or injuries were reported, officials said. The exact cause behind the fire was not clear. More details are awaited.
