Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 26 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has extended an invitation to Tamil Nadu's industrialists to explore new business opportunities, thereby enhancing the bond between the two states.
He also said to establish a Madhya Pradesh industry office in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to facilitate investment and strengthen trade and business ties between the two states.

CM Yadav made the remark while addressing an Interactive Session for Investment in Madhya Pradesh in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. He further praised the industrial prowess of Coimbatore and Tiruppur, noting that industrialists here have independently transformed these regions into industrial hubs.
CM Yadav highlighted the rapid development of the textile and garment, automobile, and engineering industries in Madhya Pradesh, emphasising the immense potential in these sectors.
"Every aspect of investment has been meticulously considered, ensuring Madhya Pradesh is future-ready with robust support from the government and the people. To transform the "Azadi ka Amrit Kaal" into a prosperous period for Madhya Pradesh, the government is working towards integrating the state's industries into the global supply chain. Continuous efforts are being made to establish and develop industries, with a new initiative for investment promotion launched across the state through the Regional Industry Conclave," CM said.
"The Global Investors Summit will be organised in Bhopal on February 7 and 8 next year. I have come to invite you to be a part of the investment revolution going on in the state. I am confident that by taking advantage of the immense opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh, you will play an important role in realising the vision of a Vikasit Bharat as well as a Vikasit Madhya Pradesh," CM Yadav added.
Madhya Pradesh has a highly favourable ecosystem for the textile industry. It offers a special ready-made garment policy, providing up to 200 percent financial assistance on fixed capital investments to attract large-scale garment industries. To address the evolving needs of the textile sector, a state-of-the-art Skill Development Center is being established in Jabalpur, and an MoU has been signed with the Tiruppur Exporters' Association to support skill and cluster development, the chief minister said.
"Madhya Pradesh presents the most attractive financial benefits package for the textile and garment industry in the country, bolstered by abundant cotton, affordable land, and compelling financial incentives. This combination is drawing major textile companies to the state. Additionally, the approval of the PM Mitra Integrated Mega Textile Park in Dhar district underscores the growing prominence of Madhya Pradesh in the textile industry," CM said.
Madhya Pradesh is home to over 10 OEMs and more than 200 auto component manufacturers. The state also hosts numerous small units producing OEM parts and ancillary components for commercial vehicles. Essential infrastructure for the auto sector is well-established. Automobile engineering, electric vehicles (EVs), and EV components are key focus areas for the state government, which is also preparing to introduce a dedicated policy for electric vehicles, he added.
"Madhya Pradesh is rich in minerals, forests, water, and tourism opportunities. The state offers a welcoming, development-oriented, and environmentally-friendly environment for setting up industries and attracting investment. Its robust connectivity, with numerous expressways traversing its industrial corridors, enhances its appeal. Madhya Pradesh is a power-surplus state with ample land available for industrial use and a commitment to clean, green energy. It boasts over 320 industrial areas, 10 food parks, 5 IT SEZs, 2 spice parks, 2 multi-product SEZs, and 2 plastic parks, with new industrial parks and SEZs currently under development," CM said.
Besides, in the interactive session, one-to-one meetings were held with over 25 industrialists and four major industry organisations, and information regarding "One District - One Product" of the state was also given. Along with this, an MoU was signed on knowledge sharing with the Indian Cotton Corporation to promote the production and rakba of ELS cotton in the state. An MoU was also signed on knowledge sharing with the Tiruppur Exporters' Association to increase the availability of skilled manpower in the state and to establish a textile cluster. An MoU was also signed with the South India Mills Association to promote cotton cultivation in Madhya Pradesh and for research and development sharing, according to an official release. (ANI)
