To support police officers' health, a gymnasium has been set up on the second floor. The entire building has CCTV cameras, fire safety measures, and centralised air conditioning. A 'Jan Seva Kendra' has been created on the ground floor for the public to address their issues. Parking, which was a major problem at the old office, has been resolved with basement parking facilities. The building is also equipped with a generator for uninterrupted power supply.
"As a new initiative, the responsibility of operating the canteen in the Police Commissioner Office has been entrusted to the women of the Sakhi Mandal (Self Help Groups), with the aim of providing employment opportunities for them," the statement said.
Additionally, a Martyrs' Memorial and Police Museum have also been set up to honour police officers who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. The memorial is meant to educate visitors about their bravery and dedication. The newly constructed office, equipped with modern technology, is expected to have a positive impact on the city's police work and overall security.
