New Delhi [India], May 29 (ANI): A 22-year-old married woman was allegedly strangulated to death in Vasant Kunj in southwest Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
According to the police, "Prima facie matrimonial dispute seems to be the reason for murder. From the initial examination of the body, the death is due to strangulation."

On May 29 at 12:38 PM, a police control room call was received regarding murder at Vasant Kunj South police station, police said.
Upon receiving the call, the police personnel immediately rushed there. At the scene of the incident, the lady was identified as Pooja, wife of Abhishek Yadav, a resident of Rajokri.
The police said that the inquiry revealed that Pooja and Abhishek had married for the second time two months ago, on April 22. Abhishek had no children from his first marriage, while Pooja had a son from her first marriage.
Police said the forensic science laboratory team and crime team have inspected the spot. A case is being registered under appropriate sections, and multiple teams are working to nab the husband.
