New Delhi, Apr 11 (PTI) In restricted activity, groundnut oil prices drifted lower by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to reduced offtake by stockists.
Linseed oil in the non-edible section, also traded lower on tepid demand from consuming industries.
Traders said reduced offtake by stockists following easing demand from retailers against adequate stocks position, mainly weighed on groundnut oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) oil fell by Rs 100 to Rs 8,400 per quintal.
In the non-edible section, lineed oil also eased by Rs 100 to Rs 9,200 per quintal.
