Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 23 (ANI): One more body has been recovered on Monday from the site where a building collapsed in Ghaziabad.

Two people have also been rescued as the rescue operations are still underway.

The five-storey under-construction building collapsed near Missal Gadi on Sunday afternoon.

Earlier, one person was reported dead and seven people were rescued in the incident.

On Sunday night, Meerut Inspector General, Ram Kumar, told ANI, "According to documents, this land belonged to a builder. We have identified four persons related to that and are in the process of taking them into custody. We will file an FIR and take the harshest action against culprits."

Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh also assured strict action against those found guilty in the incident.

"The inquiry has been ordered. We have directed the administration to take strict action against those responsible. We have directed the administration to vacate illegal buildings and demolish them if need be," he said. (ANI)
